‘Brahmastra is king-size disappointment’ says critic Taran Adarsh

Brahmastra has finally released after multiple hiccups on September 9. Firstly, the film had to push its release date multiple times due to the pandemic and when the situation became slightly better, Brahmastra had to pass the boycott trend. In spite of a stormy journey, the film is witnessing a great run at the box office. However, trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and bashed the film.

TRADE ANALYST TARAN ADARSH BASHES BRAHMASTRA

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh bashed Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra in his review. His tweet can be read, “#OneWordReview… #Brahmstra: DISAPPOINTING. Rating: [two stars] #Brahmstra is a king-sized disappointment High on VFX, low on content [second half nosedives] #Brahmstra could’ve been a game changer, but, alas, it’s a missed opportunity All gloss, no soul. #BrahmstraReview (sic).”

Brahmastra is a superhero drama that revolves around a simpleton who shares a special bond with fire. It features Alia Bhatt as the leading lady and marks her first collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor. The cast includes Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and Amitabh Bachchan. It is directed by Ayan Mukerji. Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo in the movie. Brahmastra opened in the theatres on September 9.
