The biggie has now completed 100 days in theatres. Ulaganayagan took to Twitter today, September 10, to thank fans for making the film a success. Vikram is an actioner, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The flick marks the Kaithi director’s first collaboration with Haasan.

Kamal Haasan, who suffered a setback when Vishwaroopam 2 underperformed at the box office, got his career back on track with Vikram. The Lokesh Kanagaraj-helmed movie has now completed 100 days in theatres. Earlier today, September 10, the actor shared an audio note to thank movie buffs for supporting Vikram.

Vikram is an actioner that features Kamal Haasan in the role of a ‘ghost’ who tries to punish those responsible for his son’s death. It was Lokesh Kanagaraj’s first release after the Vijay-led Master. Vikram had a strong cast that included Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi, and Suriya. The biggie collected nearly Rs 142 crore in Tamil Nadu during its run. A sequel to Vikram, with Haasan as the hero and Nadippin Nayakan as the antagonist, is said to be in the works.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR KAMAL HAASAN?

Kamal Haasan, meanwhile, is going through a busy phase on the work front. He is working on Indian 2, directed by Shankar. The film is a sequel to the 1996 classic of the same name. Indian 2 features the versatile actor in the role of an aged vigilante. Its cast includes Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, and Siddharth, among others.
